Mumbai had another reason to keep the festive cheer going with singer Prateek Kuhad successfully kickstarting the India leg of ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ World Tour. In Prateek Kuhad’s first live performance in Mumbai (and India) post-pandemic, at the massive Jio World Gardens, Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), thousands of fans across a diverse mix of age groups were seen locked into Prateek’s performance, connecting with his music and enjoying the vibe of the concert in a trance.
The ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ Tour in Mumbai saw a fabulous audience response, with hands swaying in the air as Prateek performed his hot new favourite tracks such as ‘Just A Word’ and ‘Favourite Peeps’ along with his evergreen radio hits including ‘cold/mess’ and ‘Kasoor’.
Youth sensations Munawar Faruqui, and Santanu Hazarika and content creators such as Rhea Gurnani, Aashna Shah, Tarini Shah, Anahita Karanjia, Jigger Thakkar were also spotted at the Prateek Kuhad ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ Tour kick-off in Mumbai today.
The tour follows the release of Kuhad’s latest 11-track studio album ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ which was released in May 2022 via Elektra Records and spoke about human love, friendship, and connectivity.
Best known for his intimate songwriting, earnest lyricism and experimental flare, the 32-year-old global breakout star is touring on home turf after a hiatus of one and a half years. After a wholesome and enthralling show in Mumbai, Prateek is set to perform in Pune today, October 30th at Liberty Square, Phoenix Marketcity, for a completely sold-out show.
