Fatima Sana Shaikh has been speaking about playing a rather interesting role in the period drama Sam Bahadur. While she left everyone impressed with her amazing performance as Lali in Modern Love Mumbai, she is now gearing up for playing a real-life character on the screen in her next. And now the actress is all set for shooting for the same and has jetted off to complete yet another schedule of the film with her co-stars Vicky Kaushal and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub.
In a recent social media post, Fatima Sana Shaikh spoke about taking off for the schedule of Sam Bahadur. She posted a picture with her co-stars Vicky Kaushal and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub from a flight along with a funny caption where she referred to them as 'Ache Bachhe' (Good kids) and wrote it on the picture in the Instagram story.
As for the film Sam Bahadur, Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen playing the character of former late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and fans are definitely awaiting to see a glimpse of the actress in this iconic role. Sam Bahadur is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal.
On the work front, along with Sam Bahadur, Fatima Sana Shaikh has an interesting lineup and she will also be seen in Dhak Dhak. Directed and co-written by Tarun Dudeja, co-produced by Taapsee Pannu, Pranjal Khandhdiya and Ayush Maheshwari.
