Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna pen heartbreaking notes as their dog Cleo passes away - "Will miss you"

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and author Twinkle Khanna on Tuesday took to social media to reveal that their German Shepherd, Cleo, had passed away. The couple took to their Twitter and Instagram respectively to pen heartbreaking notes and sharing glimpses with their pet.

Akshay Kumar shared two photos of Cleo and wrote, "They say dogs leave paw prints on our hearts. You took a part of our hearts with you today. Rest well up there, Cleo. Will miss you."

Twinkle Khanna shared a video of her brushing Cleo and wrote, "Our beautiful Cleo passed away. We had 12 wonderful years with her. I don’t know how the heart can feel heavy and empty at the same time, but it does."

On the work front, Akshay Kumar has kicked off the promotions for Bachchhan Paandey. The film releases in theatres on March 18.
